I arrived in Medellín the week of the annual Feria de las Flores, which for me mostly meant un montón de people partying in the streets and in the bars all night long, few available hotel rooms, and very high prices for the ones that were available. Sadly, a few restaurants I liked and a couple of organic markets had closed since I stayed here for a month shortly before the pandemic. Still found plenty of good food and enjoyed the big trees at the botanical garden.
